Job Description

• Lead the development of new products and technologies from concept through launch.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into innovative product solutions.
• Manage product design, prototyping, testing, validation, and commercialization efforts.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Drive engineering best practices, product performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support design for manufacturability, scalability, and cost-effective production.

The Successful Applicant

A successful R&D Engineering Manager should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Optical/Photonics Engineering, Illuminating Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or product design leadership roles.
• Strong track record of bringing products from concept through commercialization.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools, engineering analysis, and product validation.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and product development for scalable production.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
