Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH)in Bolivar, MOis hiring a front office clerk to help care for our patients primarily in the Oncology Clinic and throughout our specialty clinics! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the Department: The Carrie J. Babb Cancer Center is a partnership between Citizens Memorial Hospital and Central Care Cancer Center in Kansas. The facility provides medical oncology/hematology, as well as radiation services.


Services include:

• Chemotherapy

• Hematology

• Rehabilitation services

• Prosthetic fittings

• Social services

• Dietary services

A typical day will include: The clerk is an integral piece of the healthcare team, working closely with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and registered medical assistants (RMA).

• Responsible for answering the telephone and routing to appropriate people.

• Scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, updating consents, patient insurance and demographic information.

• Collecting clinic copays, obtaining medical records, and assisting with coordination of referrals.

Job Requirements:

• Education:High School diploma or equivalent required

• Experience: 1 year of customer service in Healthcare or clerical

• Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking

• Licensure/Certification:N/A

• Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of day and stand for the remaining 10%

The position is: Full Time, Days

• 8:00a.m-4:30p.m
