**Required Experience and Certifications:** - **Chemo Certification Required:** Candidates must have a chemotherapy certification. - **Experience Required:** Minimum of 1 year of oncology and PCU experience. - **Driver's License Required:** Must be submitted to confirm residency is outside a 50-mile radius. - **Certifications Required:** ACLS, BLS (AHA), and ONS/ONCC are mandatory. - **Charge Nurse Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required for charge nurse role. **Preferred and Additional Qualifications:** - Oncology certification preferred for those with specific oncology experience. - Candidates with both oncology and PCU experience are preferred. - BLS, ACLS certifications needed. - EMR System: Experience with EPIC is not mandatory but knowledge is beneficial. **Qualities for Hires:** - Genuine need to care for patients. - Positive attitude even during tough times. - Teamwork-oriented mindset. - Respect for cultural diversity, religious beliefs, and economic status. - Ability to assist oncology patients throughout their journey. **Facility Details:** - **Unit Description:** PCU, Oncology, and MedSurg with a 27-bed capacity. - **Patient Population:** Adults, with oncology being a common diagnosis. - **Shifts:** 12-hour shifts including nights, with weekend requirements every other week. - **Floating:** Required within the same level of care. - **Charting System:** EPIC. - **BSN Not Required:** A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is not mandatory for this position.
