About the Role
From The GroundUp is hiring a Landscape Lead Hand to maintain residential and commercial properties across the greater Owatonna area. This is a hands-on outdoor job where you will be working with softscapes to keep properties clean and professional.
No experience? We will train. Have experience? You willmove upfaster.
What You Will Do
- Perform basic landscaping tasks (mulching, trimming, bed maintenance)
- Work with your crew to complete jobs efficiently
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
This is active, physical work you will be outdoors and moving all day.
Schedule & Work Expectations
8-12 hour days roughly AprilNovember
We strive for work-life balance with 4 day work weeks as often as possible
Opportunity for snow removal for year-round work
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in landscaping preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ages 18+
- Able to obtain a DOT card (clean drug test and good health)
- Able to work outdoors 812 hours per day
- Able to lift 50+lbsregularly
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work as part of a team
Experience with lawn care or outdoor work is aplus, butnotrequired.
Pay & Benefits
- $2028 per hour based on experience
- Health insurance with HSA (full-time employees)
- Up to48 hoursPTO (increases with tenure)
