Medical Office Receptionist

\"If you can tame a multi-line phone system, calm an anxious patient, and fix a printer jam without breaking a sweat, we want you.\" Seeking a Medical Office Receptionist/front desk lead to join our busy specialty dermatology practice/family. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and communication skills, demonstrates initiative, is detail-oriented, dependable and a team player. The front desk staff helps accomplish our mission statement of providing outstanding care by providing clear, complete information when scheduling appointments and facilitating patients well being, ease and comfort when patients are in the office. Greeting patients, answering a high volume of telephone calls, appropriately triage patient needs, and scheduling patient appointments. Checking in patients, verifying insurance coverage, and taking payments. Obtaining insurance pre-authorizations. Scanning and sorting medical documents, facilitating management of patient records and referrals. Assisting with product sales, ordering supplies, and data entry. Perform basic errands for the office. Helps maintain cleanliness throughout the office. Skills/Experience: Ability to multitask and communicate with individuals of all backgrounds. Previous Medical Receptionist experience (Preferred). Experience with medical scheduling systems (Preferred). Billing/coding experience (Preferred). Salary: $19.00 to $22.00 /hour.
