Project Analyst

Buchanan Technologies provided pay range: $40.00/hr - $45.00/hr. Actual pay will vary based on skills and experience. Projects Analyst Contract – this position is not open to agencies. The Projects Analyst supports and improves the execution of the Midstream Projects Team’s portfolio by working closely with the Director of Projects and Project Managers. Responsibilities include managing the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure, and handling tasks such as planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, communication, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Managing & supporting low‑complexity projects Learning our business, processes and systems to support the organization Executing project management processes and utilizing project management systems Leading project teams & coordinating activities to execute work Managing project schedules, cost and procurement activities Communicating across the organization regarding projects Supporting annual budget efforts Conducting activities associated with the validation and development of projects Coordinating and preparing work for budget review meetings Auditing & analysis Monitoring & reporting on project health – including financial, schedule and MOCs Reporting on project information maintenance – cost tracker updates, schedule rebaselines, forecast updates, status updates Ensuring required documentation is complete and identifying gaps Monitoring & pursuing completion of workflow items – including AFEs and MOCs Reporting on cost approvals and exceptions – Fieldglass & Track Time Analyzing forecast/schedule alignment Reviewing project status update reports Job plan analysis Reporting Creating monthly reimbursable spend reports Maintaining and validating pipeline and tanks outage schedule Generating reports summarizing findings from auditing and analysis Supporting setup of projects in our project management system Submitting AFEs as needed Reaching out to bidders and setting up bid events Helping with requisitions as needed Maintaining contractor register & uploading completed projects to MyDocs Pushing AFE & MOC approvals T&M time contractor report requests and reviews Job plan support Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Information Technology Buchanan Technologies is an equal‑employment opportunity employer.
