Overview

Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members. Performs modalities/therapeutic interventions in accordance with accepted standards of care and department policies and procedures. Provides effective instruction to the patient and family through standardized educational programs and/or individualized training. Initiate, develop, and maintain collaborative interactions with internal and external team members, patients, and family members to improve patient outcomes. Productive and efficient in daily operations. Selects and performs the appropriate assessment procedures. Establishes and updates formal plan of care to address individual patient needs.


For PACE and Resource Pool, incumbents must have at least one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.


Must possess State License and NBCOT Certification.


Valid NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist - Certifications - National Board Certification In Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and license required in state of practice.


Education

• BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree - Occupational Therapy

Certification/Licensure

• Occupational Therapist License (OT) - Virginia
• NBCOT Certified Occupational Therapist - Certifications - National Board Certification In Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)

Experience

• Previous occupational therapy experience (preferred)
• Ortho and neuro experience (preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $95,825.60 - $140,961.60 annually.Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
