Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department role. The unit has 18 beds with patient ratios of 4 to 5 patients per nurse. The staffing includes RNs, Nurse Externs, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Secretaries. Available equipment includes Zoll monitors, GE monitors with 12 lead capabilities, Welch Allen vital sign monitors, and BD IV systems. Documentation is done using Meditech. Every other weekend availability is required. Floating to other units may occur as needed. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, respect, kindness, and passion towards patients. Candidates must have a minimum of one year of emergency room experience. Advanced skills such as TNCC and ENPC are preferred but not required. Procedures performed in the unit include IVs, blood collection, medication administration, and proper documentation. The uniform required is blue scrubs; off-brand hoodies or jackets are not permitted without prior approval.
