Manual QA Tester

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop, document, and maintain test cases in Excel based on functional and technical specifications.
• Execute manual test cases and report defects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
• Track and manage defects using a bug tracking system, ensuring timely resolution.
• Participate in test planning, test design, and test execution activities.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and documentation.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester or similar role.
• Proficiency in writing and managing test cases in Excel.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting is a plus.
