Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detail in Kansas City, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.14 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and promptly documenting observations. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
