LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) 6am to 6pm

Position Overview Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Garnet Hill Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, Wylie, TX. Shift: 6am to 6pm. As an LVN, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality services are delivered in a customer‑service‑friendly environment. You will play a key role in creating a positive resident experience by providing compassionate healthcare and supporting the mission to deliver superior clinical care, rehabilitation, wellness, and supportive services. Responsibilities Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act. Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing. Administer medication/treatments as prescribed. Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders. Implement and evaluate care plans. Identify and secure equipment supplies. Direct and oversee subordinates. Participate in duty assignments. Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments. Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff. Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action, discipline, or training. Monitor infection control compliance. Investigate and document accidents/incidents. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Current, valid licensure as an LVN. Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred. Management and supervisory experience required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal skills.
