Sr. Electrical Engineer

Insight Global is working with a growing consulting firm focused on serving Agricultural Clients - Grain, Feed, Fertilizer, Chemical, and Fuel. Design Responsibilities:

Provide electrical engineering design services to Agricultural and Industrial Clients including - power distribution design, grounding and underground, lighting system design, motor controls & automation, and data system design.

Develop AutoCAD and Revit drawings of electrical systems described above with the assistance of internal designers and drafters.

Develop motor and field instrument schedules based on information provided on PFD's and P&ID's

Perform arc flash and coordination studies for electrical distribution systems.

Attend continuing education courses to keep up with the industry trends - continued education is paid by MEI.

Skills and Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

8+ years of experience in the agricultural and industrial sectors or Power Distribution

Active P.E. License

Eligible to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship

Knowledge & Skills:

Working knowledge of the following computer software packages: Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote)

Willingness to learn and use arc flash and electrical system coordination software packages: SKM or ETAP

Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC)

Experience in design of electrical systems for agricultural and industrial facilities is preferred
