QA Lead (Need Locals)

Role : Senior QA Lead
\nLocation : Charlotte, NC - Need Locals for this role
\nDuration : 6 Months
\nRequired Qualifications
\n• 8+ years of QA experience with a strong background in both manual and automation testing.
\n• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating an offshore QA team.
\n• 4+ years of backend testing experience, including database validation, SQL queries, application logs, and troubleshooting.
\n• 4+ years of Postman experience for API testing, validation, and test collection development.
\n• Strong debugging and root-cause-analysis skills for application, integration, API, and data-related issues.
\n• Experience managing defects and test artifacts using JIRA and OpenText ALM Octane.
\n• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for test reporting, metrics, status communication, and stakeholder presentations.
\n• Ability to explain complex defects clearly, including business impact, reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and technical findings.
\n• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading business and defect-triage calls.
\n• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
\n• Preferred Qualifications
\n• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Java, Python, REST Assured, or similar technologies.
\n• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
\n• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, test reporting, and release-management processes.
\n• Experience validating microservices, event-driven applications, or cloud-based platforms.

\n• Proven technical leader who can effectively guide offshore teams while collaborating with onsite stakeholders.
\n• Quick learner with a strong interest in learning, applying, and teaching new technologies.
\n• Proactive, detail-oriented, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of quality deliverables.
\n• Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements, priorities, and project timelines.
