Contract (13 or 26 weeks available) | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in labor, preterm labor, triage, and low-risk antepartum settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support GYN surgeries, couplet care, and transition nursery
• Perform and manage special procedures including blood/blood products administration, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, and administration of heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Operate within a 1:1–3 staffing ratio, fulfilling roles including circulator, scrub, OB-GYN, pre-op, and post-op
• May be expected to float to post-partum and potentially a nearby sister Labor and Delivery unit
• Maintain required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); candidates may request up to 2 major holidays off

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and couplet care
• Familiarity with cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blankets, and drain management
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
