Your Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both routine and intricate clinical laboratory assessmentsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondwhile adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results to ensure their accuracy, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration tasks on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Diligently document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain quality standards within the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Educational Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree alongside preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be acquired within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification for the duration of your employment.
