Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory analyses-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and other areas-while following established protocols with precision.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and carry out preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for various tests as required.
• Diligently record procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help maintain high standards of laboratory quality.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree complemented by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification as a condition of employment.
