Surgical Technologist

Job Title: Surgical Technologist - Critical Need Key Responsibilities Assists the surgical team in the operating room by preparing the operating room, gathering and arranging equipment and supplies, and handing instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical team. Follows sterile techniques throughout surgical procedures. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and surgical team. Responsible for preparing and managing surgical supplies, specimens, and equipment. Maintains a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure. Assists with the positioning of patients. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program OR equivalent military training. Current Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certification by the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) as a National Certified Surgical Assistant (NCSA). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Preferred Qualifications One (1) year of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
