Summary

CVOR Registered Nurse opportunity in a high-volume cardiovascular surgical program within a Level II Trauma Center. This role involves assisting in open-heart and vascular procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting perioperative teams in complex cardiac surgeries. Ideal for experienced OR nurses or CVOR nurses seeking advanced surgical exposure.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN preferred)
• Active RN license (Texas or Compact; Texas license required within 90 days if compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• 1+ year CVOR experience & OR Nurse (3+ years of exp) and will cross train them to CVOR
• CNOR preferred
• Must live within 30-minute commute

Pay

• $38.03 – $57.05/hour (based on experience)
• On-call pay: $5/hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case
• Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case

Shift

• Full-Time Days
• 10-hour shifts (4 days/week) or 12-hour shifts (3 days/week)
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement:
• • 1 weekend/month
  • 3–4 weekdays/month
