Veterinary Technician

The Animal Dental Center in Columbia and Annapolis, MD is hiring a full‑time Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant. Compensation $19/hr+ Schedule 4 days per week with 10‑hour shifts (7:30 am‑5:30 pm) Company Overview The Animal Dental Center (ADC) is a dental/or‑surgical specialty practice with multiple clinic locations in Towson, Annapolis, Columbia, and York, PA. Our practice strongly focuses on client education and community outreach programs to promote pet oral health awareness and hopefully nurture a longer, healthier quality of life for our four‑legged loved ones. Position Summary Qualified applicants have established skills in anesthesia, IV catheterization, pre‑ and post‑surgical patient care, and patient recovery. Our practice has a strong focus on client education; therefore excellent client communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic as part of a very dedicated team and thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑reward professional environment. Career Requirements 1‑2 years experience as a veterinary technician or assistant. Caring and empathetic client care. Be able to lift 50 lbs comfortably. Schedule flexibility (some longer days, but no weekend hours necessary). Computer/technology proficiency and ability to learn medical/dental specialty software as necessary.
