Shift hours are from 07:00 to 19:30. Guaranteed hours are 36 per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS. CPI certification is preferred. Candidates should have experience with accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, and managing blood products. Knowledge of continuous monitoring in telemetry settings is essential. Experience in managing various medical procedures and protocols is required. Daily patient census is anticipated to be around 4 with a bed capacity of 25. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and rapid response teams. Patients may present with diagnoses such as COPD, cellulitis, CHF, pneumonia, and dehydration. Candidates may float to similar acuity units as required. It is essential to adhere to professional conduct requirements due to the sensitive nature of assignments.
