East Bend Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to join our team in beautiful Bend, Oregon . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian who is passionate about practicing high-quality medicine while providing clinical leadership that supports exceptional patient care, efficient hospital operations, and a positive client experience.

As Medical Director, you will partner with hospital leadership to guide medical standards, support team development, address client concerns, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Fully equipped surgical suite with cautery

Exceptional Support Team

4 Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs)

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

Base salary: $150,000-$190,000, depending on experience and schedule

Production bonus

Qualifications

Required

DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine (or equivalent certification for international graduates)

Successful completion of the NAVLE

Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date

Preferred

Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics

Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, or companion animal medicine

Leadership experience or interest in veterinary leadership

Strong communication and team-building skills

Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. You will be provided more detailed information about compensation and benefits for your specific location.
