Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
• Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Recent inpatient experience from clinicals accepted for new graduates
• Experience in one or more of the following settings: inpatient rehab, outpatient, or LTAC
• Experience with WellSky EMR

Assignment Details

• 36 hours per week
• Flexible setting coverage across inpatient rehab, outpatient, and LTAC based on department needs

Location Highlights

Victoria, Texas is positioned on the Coastal Plains about 50 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and 20 miles from the nearest bay waters. Riverside Park spans more than 500 acres along the Guadalupe River and includes trails, a disc golf course, and the Texas Zoo. The Texas Zoo is one of the few zoos in the state focused on native wildlife, and the Nave Museum offers access to regional art collections near downtown Victoria. Coleto Creek Park is about 20 miles from the city and offers fishing, kayaking, and camping, while the nearby Gulf Coast supports easy access to beach and waterfront outings.
