Core Responsibilities Lead and support the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Analyze financial results and provide clear, actionable insights to leadership Partner with department leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actual) to explain business drivers Monitor cash flow, banking activity, and financial trends Support audit processes and compliance reporting Analyze cost drivers (freight, expenses, etc.) to identify opportunities Maintain financial data, fixed assets, and reporting systems (D365) Prepare and support journal entries and account reconciliations as part of broader reporting responsibilities Build and enhance financial models and reports Contribute to process improvements and special projects What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, accounting, or financial analysis Strong experience with financial statement preparation and reporting Solid understanding of general ledger and month-end close processes Ability to translate data into clear, business-focused insights Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus You’ll Excel If You Are… Naturally curious and analytical —you dig into the “why” behind the numbers Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy A problem solver who looks for ways to improve processes Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator who can partner across teams Collaborative, team-focused culture Professional office at our Rolling Meadows HQ Competitive salary based on experience ($54,400 to $83,450) Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off + holidays School Health Corporation is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr School Health Corporation
