Gym Supervisor

Job Opportunities Classified as: Volleyball Game Official. Position responsible for setting up and officiating volleyball games and supervising gymnasium functions during events. Classification Summary The primary function of an employee in this class is to set up for and officiate at volleyball games and supervise gymnasium functions during events. The position supervises subordinate game officials and is under the direct supervision of a Recreation Supervisor or Program Coordinator, while retaining some latitude for independent judgment and initiative. The principal duties of the position are performed in a public gymnasium environment. Qualifications Preferred, but not required: One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the activity being officiated; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
