Scrub Tech

A&M Surgery Center in Colton, CA is looking for one scrub tech to join our surgical team. Our ideal candidate is attentive, organized, and engaged. Responsibilities Assists during surgery by passing instruments, supplies and assisting the physician as directed; monitors and responds to and assists in acute emergency situations. Abides to prescribed aseptic techniques as required for surgical procedures to maintain a sterile area. Completes necessary arrangements of operating room prior to surgical procedures by setting up or laying out instruments, surgical trays, and assembling equipment items as required for procedures. Cleans operating room after surgical procedures by disposing of contaminated instruments; disassembling instruments for sterilization required. Maintains and ensures operational readiness of instruments and equipment, departmental supplies and sterilized items. Maintains professional relationships patients and other staff members. Promotes and improves customer service to patients by demonstrating skills extraordinary customer relations and quality service. Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
