SAP Project Manager

SAP Project ManagerWe are seeking a SAP Project Manager for an SAP ERP Modernization Implementation project. The ideal candidate will plan, coordinate, and drive project activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to project management methodologies. This role involves leading internal and external teams, managing project budgets, and communicating progress to stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate with business managers, subject matter experts, and project team members to drive project activities and resolve issues.Provide direction to business, operations, and technology leads to support program needs.Ensure project activities are on a path to deliver benefits realization.Implement and adhere to an appropriate risk management plan for the project.Follow established project management methodology, risk management routines, and project governance activities.Engage key stakeholders to mitigate risks and lead discussions to resolve cross-team concerns.Lead internal and/or external resource teams on a project basis.Manage project budget forecasts and actuals in accordance with finance and reporting routines.Create, maintain, and analyze project schedules, managing variances and creating action plans to mitigate issues.Prepare dashboard reporting to communicate project health to key executives.Develop documentation and presentations to support workstream efforts and internal reporting.Assist in identifying and planning for changes introduced by the project, including client and teammate communications and training.Required QualificationsExperience in project or program management for transformative initiatives within a major financial institution.Prior SAP ERP project experience, preferably with recent experience in SAP S/4HANA related to Business Data Cloud (BDC), Group Reporting, and/or Project Systems.Proven ability to manage complex projects and initiatives with multiple business partners and large data sets.Demonstrated stakeholder relationship-building skills to drive cross-team collaboration.Experience driving large-scale, technology-focused programs with large internal and vendor resource teams.Ability to create and manage multiple project or workstream schedules in parallel.A proactive project management approach, with the ability to address problems with limited context and guide stakeholders toward resolution.Preferred QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree is preferred.Background in Accounting and Finance, with experience ensuring GAAP compliance, regulatory reporting, and profitability.Experience with SAP S/4HANA.Prior experience with system and user acceptance test planning activities.Experience with AI, automation, and data strategy development and execution.Prior experience with the Rally tool.PMP certification.Ability to translate discussions with process owners and stakeholders into effective strategic plans and project schedules.
