The Director Global Payroll leads payroll operations for IGT, supporting approximately 6,000 employees in more than 30 countries. The role sets the global payroll operating approach, drives reliable and compliant service delivery, and leads improvements to processes, systems, controls, and the employee experience. The role leads a geographically distributed payroll team of approximately 13 professionals and oversees payroll delivery through company teams and external providers. It partners with People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tax, IT, Internal Audit, and business leaders on payroll operations, risk, vendor performance, and technology initiatives.

The successful candidate has substantial experience leading payroll in a multinational organization, developing distributed teams, managing vendor relationships, and delivering complex payroll system changes. Experience with ADP GlobalView, ADP Celergo, and enterprise payroll transitions is strongly valued.

Experience & Skills

Significant experience leading payroll operations across multiple countries and regions, including the US and international markets. Strong experience with ADP GlobalView and ADP Celergo, or comparable enterprise payroll platforms; experience with ADP Workforce Manager is an advantage. Experience leading payroll transformation, system implementation, or migration programs in a multinational environment. Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead distributed teams in a matrixed organization. Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax requirements, internal controls, and audit practices, with the ability to work effectively with local experts. Experience overseeing payroll vendors and outsourced service delivery. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Business judgment to connect payroll priorities with broader company needs. Experience leading change, process improvement, or service standardization. Ability to manage concurrent priorities while maintaining reliable payroll operations and appropriate controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of progressive payroll experience, including substantial leadership responsibility in a multinational organization. Experience with ADP GlobalView and ADP Celergo in a complex payroll environment strongly preferred. Experience leading an end-to-end payroll system implementation or migration required; experience with UKG-to-ADP or comparable transitions preferred. Working knowledge of payroll requirements across multiple jurisdictions and experience partnering with local subject-matter experts. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or an international payroll certification preferred. Experience supporting a publicly traded company or a SOX-controlled environment preferred. Proficiency with Excel, reporting tools, HRIS systems, and payroll analytics platforms.
