Billing Specialist

Responsibilities include: Processing invoices for assigned department managers Preparing client required documents Coordinating with assigned project managers to monitor status of receivables including posting of corrections, credit memos and write-offs Creating and maintaining projects in the accounting software including project billing terms and budgets Creating and maintaining billing tables Maintaining contact and communication with the assigned project managers Running standard reports Maintaining and organizing files Some travel may be needed. The successful candidate will have: An associate's degree (or higher) in accounting, finance, business, or related field -OR- At least two (2) years of accounting experience with computerized accounting systems and billing processes The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: Experience with computerized financial accounting systems Financial management knowledge Experience with the engineering, architectural or construction services Deltek Vision software experience Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Benefits Mead & Hunt proudly offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, paid sick leave, parental leave, a 401K plan with a generous company match, life and disability insurance, and an employee assistance program. Salary Range Salary Range: $25.00 - $34.00 hourly - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set, or location.
