Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (MICU)

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting
• Float to all three ICUs and emergency department for patient holds as needed
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and administer medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned modules
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent, recent Critical Care / ICU experience
• Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the ICU specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required for submission (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references are not accepted)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIHSS certification preferred
• Experience floating across multiple ICU environments
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment tools
