We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper Assistant to join our office team and help support our accounting and administrative operations.

Position Overview The Bookkeeper Assistant will work closely with management and the bookkeeping team to help maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, organize documents, and support day-to-day office accounting tasks. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, comfortable with numbers, and experienced with QuickBooks Online. This is an in-office position and may be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the right candidate's availability and company needs.

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Enter bills, payments, deposits, and other transactions into QuickBooks Online
• Help reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Maintain accurate vendor, customer, and job-related records
• Assist with invoicing, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balances
• Organize receipts, statements, invoices, and other financial documents
• Support payroll preparation and time tracking as needed
• Help prepare reports for management
• Communicate with vendors, customers, and team members regarding billing or payment questions
• Perform general office and administrative duties as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Basic bookkeeping or accounting knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and office software
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Dependable attendance and a professional attitude
• Plumbing, construction, service business, or trade industry experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

• Part-time or full-time available
• In-office position
• Monday through Friday schedule preferred
• Exact hours can be discussed during the hiring process

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
