Contract Registered Nurse - Operating Room / Surgery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Location: Austin, TX

Schedule: Day shift, 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM. Call required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room/Surgery unit. The ideal candidate will possess essential skills and experience in various specialties, including cardiac, vascular, neuro, spine, oncology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and GYN procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Assist in various surgical procedures.
• Maintain and monitor patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
• Current certification is required for Certified Surgical Technicians (CSTs).
• Experience in neuro and spine procedures for cardiac service line.
• Robotics and specialty surgical experience preferred.
