Registered Nurse - Cardiac Transplant Coordinator

Job Overview Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is hiring a full‑time Transplant Coordinator to serve on the transplant team. The coordinator will collaborate with transplant physicians, surgeons, and advanced practice providers for inpatient and outpatient care. Responsibilities Serve as a member of the transplant team and collaborate with transplant physician specialists, surgeons, and APPs for inpatient and outpatient pre or post‑transplant patient care. Make recommendations for policy and protocol changes based upon literature review. Coordinate multidisciplinary evaluation and update of candidates, incorporating current transplant standards of care. Actively participate in the patient selection committee and provide recommendations regarding candidacy. Manage patient care and needs for post‑transplant patients, taking call for urgent evaluations and listing needs. Become certified as a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator within 2 years in the role. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience. Licensed Nursing (MO) through National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS). Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Work Details Full Time – Day Shift. Location: United States – Kansas City, MO.
