Fabricator/Laborer

This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you will fabricate and prepare plastic piping products and fittings based on customer orders.If you are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and take pride in producing quality work in a safe environment, we want to hear from you.Schedule:Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Cut plastic piping materials using various saws and fabrication equipmentDrill, grind, bevel, and prepare plastic materialsAssemble fabricated fittings using PVC primer and adhesiveFabricate tees, reducers, couplings, elbows, and custom fittingsSet up and operate fabrication equipment, including band saws, routers, grinders, drill presses, hydraulic presses, and basic hand and power toolsMeasure angles and materials using appropriate measuring toolsForm and expand socket joints using various heating processesRead and follow production work orders, travelers, sketches, and simple drawingsComplete required production documentationInspect and measure materials throughout the fabrication process to ensure quality standards are metProperly use and care for required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Maintain a clean and safe work areaPerform other duties as assignedWhat You'll Need:Basic math skills, including fractions, geometry, and anglesAbility to read and understand imperial measurementsAbility to read work orders, sketches, and simple technical drawingsGood mechanical aptitude; previous mechanical or fabrication experience is a plusStrong understanding of workplace safety practicesAbility to accurately use basic measuring toolsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform physical tasks that may require bending, kneeling, stooping, or squattingReliable attendance and a willingness to learnBenefits:IPEX offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid vacationShort- and long-term disability coverage401(k) retirement planWhy Join IPEX?At IPEX, safety, quality, and continuous improvement are at the heart of what we do.
