Fulton Family Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our practice on a full-time or part-time basis. In this role, you will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral hygiene, and assist in diagnosing oral health conditions. Employment Type Part-time Requirements Basic life support Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Registered Dental Hygienist with a valid license to practice Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene or related field CPR Certification required Strong knowledge of HIPAA and health and safety regulations in dental practice Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role Excellent communication and patient education skills Detail-oriented with a patient and friendly demeanor Ability to prepare and maintain dental equipment efficiently Job Description Ensure patients are comfortable and informed prior to oral examinations and treatments Properly sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment to meet health and safety standards Conduct initial oral screenings and review patients’ dental health history Identify and document conditions such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis Perform teeth cleaning procedures including plaque removal and fluoride application Educate patients of all ages on effective oral hygiene techniques and dental care practices Provide post-operative care instructions and follow-up guidance after dental procedures Take dental X-rays and impressions as needed to support diagnosis and treatment planning Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and clinic protocols Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Jobley Bonus: $90 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley) Shift & Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday and Sunday: Closed 8-hour day shifts About the Practice Name: Fulton Dental Associates Location: 161 S 2nd St, Fulton, NY 13069 Fulton Dental Associates
