Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

This position requires a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience, including must-have stepdown experience and preference for critical care experience. Previous travel experience is strongly preferred.

Schedule

Consideration for 36 or 48 hours per week is available. This is a float position that may support various units, including emergency room holds, overflow units, adult and geriatric psychiatric units, and inpatient rehabilitation units.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients and demonstrate leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate the plan of care for patients, employing the model of Shared Governance.
• Collaborate effectively with all healthcare team members to promote evidence-based care within a healing environment for the served patient population and their families.
• May be responsible for caring for pediatric patients when floated to the emergency room, depending on the RN's experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN is preferred.
• Licensure: Current RN license in good standing, either in Arkansas or a Compact State.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Safety Sensitive Designation

This position is classified as safety sensitive according to Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana.
