## Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift NICU RN!

### Job Description:

- Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:00)
- Experience the thrill of working in a dynamic and impactful environment with the following highlights:


- Patient Care:
- Care for Neonates (>34 weeks) and those 29-34 weeks in a Level II NICU
- Manage critical situations and attend high-risk deliveries
- Provide breastfeeding support and handle breast milk


- Essential Skills:
- Proficient in neonatal care, including:
- UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter) and UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter)
- Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
- Comfort and care techniques for neonates (Eat, Sleep, Console)


- Unit Details:
- Work in a supportive, interdisciplinary team:
- Collaboration with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services
- Manage special equipment including High Flow CPAP and CPAP


- Patient Dynamics:
- Daily Census: 4
- A patient ratio of 2 during shifts, ensuring personalized care


- Requirements:
- Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
- Minimum Experience: 2 years in similar settings
- Required Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE
- Valid Compact Nursing License: Must be in hand at submission

- Flexible Scheduling:
- Self-scheduling options with a focus on weekend coverage
- Orientation Hours: 24 hours

- Additional Information:
- Must be willing to float to nearby facilities as needed
- Post-submission RTO must be communicated upfront
