Accounts Payable Associate

What You'll Be Doing The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for coding and inputting invoices into MS Excel and/or the Accounts Payable system, printing and mailing checks, and researching/resolving problems. Responsible for reviewing and processing employee expense reimbursement reports and FA Expense reports. What We're Looking For Assign proper coding to all invoices to prepare them for processing. Input invoice data into the Accounts Payable system, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, proofing work and cross-checking totals. Print and prepare for mailing the checks; deliver to mail room. Research and resolve any problems or questions that arise concerning the payment of A/P transactions. Review receipts according to various Stifel policies. Assist with balancing of corporate card accounts. What You'll Bring Basic understanding of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data. Solid ability to use mathematics to solve problems and arrive at correct answers. Proven ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. General knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology. Education & Experience Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Required: 0+ years' experience with automated accounting (AP, AR). Systems & Technology Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience with Accounting software.
