$110,000+ and bonus eligible

• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
• Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Provide legal counsel and analyze client needs to identify solutions and determine case strategies;
• Manage case managers and legal assistants in connection with keeping track of case progression;
• Draft correspondence and review demands;

• Negotiate the best outcome for clients;
• Perform legal research.

• Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
• Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
• Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm
• Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;

• Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction;

• Prior experience working for a plaintiff personal injury law firm for a minimum of 2 years is required ;

• Prior experience negotiating personal injury claims required;

• Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must;

• Must be able to understand medical records and medical treatment;

• Must understand the nuances in commercial cases;

• Must be able to do legal research for complex issues;

• Must be able to handle a docket with minimal supervision;

• Must be able to effectively manage a team of legal assistants.
