HVAC Service Technician – $21–$35/HR DOE

Express Employment Professionals is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join a growing team in the Tallahassee area. As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping HVAC systems operating efficiently and safely. Your day may include:

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems
• Installing new HVAC equipment and removing outdated systems
• Running pipe and ductwork through residential and commercial buildings
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
• Understanding refrigeration cycles
• Using pressure and temperature readings to diagnose system performance
• Working with commercial food service equipment
• Identifying problems and determining the best repair solution
• Safely handling tools and materials up to 50 lbs.

We’re looking for a dependable technician who can hit the ground running and knows their way around HVAC systems.

Requirements:

• HVAC service and/or installation experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Experience repairing and installing commercial food service equipment
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company van
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
