Job Description
Title: Circulating RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Schedule:
- Shift: 4x10-hour days
- Call: Required

Requirements:
- 1-3 years of cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery experience
- State or Compact nursing license required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience with cardiac surgical cases (CABG, valve procedures, TAVR)
- Skills in blood/blood product administration, IV starts, urinary catheterization, and specimen handling
- Experience with IABP and electrosurgical units is preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
- Circulate during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
- Assist with the administration of anesthesia and monitor patient responses during procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation

Compliance / Notes:
- All requested time off must be provided at the time of submittal
- Onboarding requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Orientation modules to be completed onsite, RN modules average 4-6 hours (non-billable)
