About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing to take on a pivotal role in the fast-evolving AI security market. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning and leading the marketing strategy, with a focus on brand positioning, category narrative, and integrated campaign planning. This is a unique opportunity to be the first true marketing leader at a well-funded Series B company, directly reporting to the CEO and building a comprehensive marketing function from the ground up. The role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 10 years' B2B SaaS marketing experience, including a proven track record in demand generation, pipeline ownership, and strong field marketing experience. The VP of Marketing will also be tasked with overseeing product marketing, managing the marketing budget, and leading a team to ensure the company's message resonates with CISOs, security leaders, and enterprise buyers. The ideal candidate for the VP of Marketing position at the company will have a builder mentality, be a strong communicator and storyteller, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environment. Proficiency in AI tools and experience in cybersecurity, data security, AI, or a closely related technical B2B category is strongly preferred. The role requires a leader who is adept at cross-functional partnership, particularly with sales, product, and customer success teams, and who can align marketing strategy with revenue goals and product launches.
