Engineer Intern/Co-op-1

Job Summary The sky is no longer the limit as Nidec takes its technology off the ground and into the Aerospace market. As an Intern with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will assist in the design and manufacturing of electric propulsion systems for battery‑powered aircraft. Your work will support the aerospace industry’s transition to net‑zero carbon emissions by 2050. Job Description The ideal candidate will embody Nidec’s key pillars of Passion, Enthusiasm, and Tenacity, and will work with a diverse team of design engineers from ideation through production. You will support aerospace industry leaders, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to meaningful projects that advance transport decarbonization. Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree program in a related field of engineering. Strong academic background with coursework related to engineering. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
