General Fasteners Company located in Chillicothe, OH is looking to hire a full-time Warehouse Support Associate. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WAREHOUSE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

This position is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, organized warehouse. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team.

WORK SCHEDULE - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

This position works a set schedule of Monday through Friday second shift 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM. This schedule is fixed to meet consistent customer service needs — there is no flexibility to adjust these days or hours. Please apply only if you are able to reliably commit to this schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A WAREHOUSE SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and build positive working relationships
• Ability to organize resources, establish priorities, and manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Self-directed with a high level of personal organization and drive
• Flexible and adaptable to changing job requirements
• Working knowledge of all warehouse processes, with the ability to perform them as needed
• Ability to be trained to operate powered industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, and the general public
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable warehouse, distribution, delivery, or related experience preferred
• Ability to meet company requirements for operating a company vehicle
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following required training and certification
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

This job operates in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to inside ambient temperatures. Noise level may be high when operating powered industrial equipment. Employees are required to use appropriate safety equipment to prevent injury to self and/or others.
