Staffworks Group is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC-R Technician to join our growing team in Gales Ferry, CT.

Connecticut HVAC License Required (D1, D2, S1, or S2)

What You'll Do

• Install, service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, walk-in coolers/freezers, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Inspect systems and recommend repairs or upgrades.
• Repair or replace compressors, motors, controls, contactors, sensors, valves, and refrigerant lines.
• Recover and charge refrigerant in accordance with EPA regulations.
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately.
• Maintain a safe work environment while following all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while communicating professionally with customers and team members.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Connecticut HVAC License (D1, D2, S1, or S2) required
• EPA 608 Certification
• OSHA 10 Certification
• 3+ years of commercial HVAC-R experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and control systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors and outdoors
• Strong communication and customer service skills
