Senior Accountant

Questor Corp Questor Corp is a small company operating multiple businesses in several states. We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to own our day-to-day financial operations. You'll work directly with leadership and play a key role in keeping our books clean, our reporting accurate, and our finances healthy as we continue our growth. What you’ll do Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Own the general ledger — maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies Lead month-end and year-end close processes Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of accounting experience; CPA a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Sage, and enterprise accounting systems) Advanced Excel skills High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working independently in a small-team open office environment in Midtown, to foster collaboration Clear communicator who can explain financials to non-finance stakeholders Nice to have Experience with ERP systems Property taxes What we offer $75,000 – $80,000/yr. 401(k) with match.
