Maintenance Technician

SURESTAFF is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a client located in St. Charles, IL. This position will be responsible for performing repairs and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. Pay Rate: $24-40/hr. Available shifts: 2nd shift Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician include:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems (three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, and running electrical conduit)
• Observe and diagnose malfunctions of mechanical devices.
• Repair and maintain equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records.

Preferred Qualifications of the Mechanical Maintenance Technician:

• 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance technician position
• Proven track record of effective problem-solving
• Strong communication skills
• Machine programming and troubleshooting experience.
