Accounts Payable Clerk – Join a Fast-Paced, Detail-Driven Accounting Team!
Location: Ontario, CA
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM/ Temp-Hire
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls and organized records. What You’ll Do
Invoice Processing

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy
• Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documents
• Ensure proper coding, approvals, and timely entry into the system
• Process invoices according to company policies and payment terms

Vendor Payments & Relations

• Prepare weekly payment runs (ACH, checks, wires, credit cards)
• Maintain vendor records and W-9 documentation
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments

Reconciliations & Reporting

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with aging reports and financial reporting

Compliance & Administration

• Maintain organized digital and physical records
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
• Support audits by providing required documentation
• Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required  
• 2 years of accounts payable or accounting experience
• Experience with accounting or ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
