Associate Attorney - Labor and Employment

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Labor and Employment for their office in Houston, TX. The role requires a minimum of two years of broad-based employment counseling experience, focusing on transactional work and client counseling. Duties Provide labor and employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions. Offer expert advice and counseling to employers on all aspects of the employment relationship. Draft offer letters, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements. Ensure alignment of documents with client objectives and legal requirements. Requirements Minimum of two years of experience in employment law. Experience in transactional work and client counseling. Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
