Accounting Specialist

Accounting Specialist Our client, a highly respected professional services firm, is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support their Phoenix office. What you'll be doing: Process accounts payable and employee expense reimbursements Serve as a key accounting resource supporting office operations and internal stakeholders Assist with the preparation and review of client billing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness Respond to inquiries from internal team members, vendors, and clients regarding accounting matters Help ensure compliance with internal billing and accounting procedures Manage accounting-related email requests and respond within established service timelines Maintain accounting reports, spreadsheets, reconciliations, and supporting documentation Assist with tracking and payment of tax-related liabilities Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and vendor deposit reconciliations Support special projects, financial analysis, and additional accounting initiatives as assigned Provide backup support to other accounting team members as needed What you'll need: Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered Minimum of 2 years of general accounting, payroll, or related accounting experience Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently Experience working with accounting and billing software strongly preferred Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications Strong communication and interpersonal skills Solid numeric, analytical, and organizational abilities What's in it for you: Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits offerings Professional development and growth opportunities Collaborative and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to work with a well-established organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
