Your Role
- Craft Individualized Therapy Plans: Analyze patient requirements and design tailored therapy strategies to guide them towards their functional aspirations
- Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply scientifically-supported techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions
- Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to guarantee thorough, well-rounded patient care
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide information to patients and their families about therapy practices to ensure consistent progress at home
- Track and Record Progress: Monitor patient development and refine treatment plans as necessary to keep them on their path to recovery
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
- Ongoing professional education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A deep passion for supporting individuals in achieving their highest independence levels
